Marci Becker is a Certified Health & Wellness Coach, an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 200), & a continuing education provider through Yoga Alliance (YACEP). She has a deep desire to walk alongside people on their wellness journey, recognizing that you are in the driver’s seat of your own journey….but sometimes you need someone to ride with you on this roadtrip we call life.
Marci fell in love with the practice of yoga through the Healing Spirit yoga studio in Bloomington, Indiana. While living a hectic life with a full time job, family responsibilities, and many other activities, the sanctuary of the yoga studio became more and more important in her life. No matter what else was going on at any given time, going to yoga class always brought her back to a beautiful place within herself.
She became fascinated with the rejuvenating and healing effects of the practice so she decided to study formally. She completed the 200-hour training program with Marsha Pappas and Nikki Myers at the CITYOGA School of Yoga and Health in Indianapolis in the summer of 2010. The training program was everything she wanted and more and she is honored to now share her love of this sacred practice with others. In 2018, she reached ‘Experienced’ level of certification with Yoga Alliance and in 2020 began her advanced Yoga Teacher training with the Nourishing Heart Yoga Studio in Bloomington. She is also now a certified Continuing Education Provider for Yoga Alliance and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and experience with other Yoga Teachers as they work to continue to grow and learn as teachers and practitioners. Becoming a Health & Wellness Coach allows her to work one-on-one with people to help them navigate change for the better!
Marci has lived in Bloomington since 2004 and enjoys traveling, playing softball, volunteering, hiking, biking, and spending time with her friends, family, and wonderful husband.
